Dazz and her brother are the only two pups from their mom ( Moira ). Moira is also from our very limited lines as she is the only offspring of the Vegas and Ziggy cross. Dazzle is a 5th generation Prizm dog and goes back to our original breeding / show Aussies that we took into AKC thirty (30) years ago as Foundation, when the studbooks first opened.
Dazzle got her mama's "game for fun" temperament and she makes me happy each day with her sweet and exuberant personality. Like her mom, she is a naturally fantastic house dog ... needing very minimal training.
Mostly she can be found laying belly-up in the middle of the floor or cozied up in "her" chair, but she does love to cuddle ( big as she is ! ).
Dazzle has some of her sire ( Nate ) and his sire Cutter looks about her. I would have preferred a less flashy marked pup, but the "Dog Gods" gave me a pup that would dazzle me anyway. Her daddy ( Nate ) is a big sweetie boy who is a bit pushy for his attention, so we know where she got that trait ... LOL.
I lost Dazzle's mom at 13 years of age to breast cancer and I doubt I'll ever get over losing such a smart and wonderful family member. Thank goodness I have Dazzle to carry on with. Hopefully, I will breed her in
2021 and get a boy puppy as a next generation performance dog.
She will continue her training and trialing after she is spayed because
she loves her agility and scent work classes ( & Barn Hunt !! ). She has a really great tracking nose on her. She has also been introduced to stock and if I find the time and extra funds to fit in stock training, we'll be giving that a try as well.

Above Dazzle at her first Dock Trial. She recieved her Dock Junior title in her first 5 jumps. Another fun sport for this girl.
Below are photos of Dazzle at the big noisy Houston Dog Show - which she loved. I also took her to this show the year before ( her very first time to a dog show ) and let her try Barn Hunt for the first time. Well, that weekend she got FIVE Novice Q's, so I can safely say she likes that game. The next year she got her Open Title at this show, finishing by finding both rats ( and doing the curved tunnel ) in under a minute .....
and awarded a pretty "High in Open" blue rosette.
Dazzle also had 3 Q's her first 3 times trying coursing ability and received her CA. She loves the chase game and got her CAA in 10 consecutive runs. She tried the FastCAT for the first time in May 2020 and averaged the 100 yard dash in 8.3 seconds .... in 95 degrees and 95% humidity. Ugh, Houston weather !
